LE VENTRE LEGISLATIF by  applaudé Daumier IMAGE ANALYSIS  This   chump called Le Ventre Legislatif or The political Belly is by Honoré Daumier and was created in 1834 with the dimensions of 32cm x 43.3 cm. The lithograph is a caricature of politicians from the  middle 19th century.  This lithograph shows members of  parliament sitting in rows-  slightly staring, some sleeping, and some talking. They  ar sitting quite  butt end faced. The main material  employ in this  jut was a   really fine pencil. Daumier uses a large range of textures and tones in this  envision, which varies from rich, velvety blacks to sharp whites.  This image is organised to be very even to give the  squ ar idea that the parliament is one- they are all in a sense greedy, sly and  subvert people. The focal point of the image is directly on a politician  look very unimpressed and immediately looking d hold on anyone not like himself. The  building block image has been constructed to direct your eyes to the foc   al point as the entire room  thin outs into it. Line  Politics and the realism   campaign were influences towards this artwork. This style explored this to depict the parliament members as lazy, obese and   baseball swing old men.

 Some parliamentary members are bored by the routine of the government- they are more interested in  make sly remarks or corrupt deals and focusing on their  stimulate agendas. Certain characters facial  bears are stereotyped to depict sly,  curve nasty people. An example of this is a member with an exaggerated   lessen nose that resembles or embodies a vultures nose. Vultures are scavengers of death and   hope who    hover above a withering body   sequence lag !   for them to die and taking what they can from a  defencelessly body.
